Hiked Cowles from Big Rock Park. It’s almost 2 miles longer than the infamous South approach. This is hike C-7 Trip 4 in Afoot & Afield in San Diego.

I am guilty of the fact that Cowles mountain is the only real hike I’ve done in San Diego.
When I was in better shape I did a bunch of hikes with friends when I lived in Charlottesville, Virginia though.
