The Eastside Pub Crawlers left the Seattle metro yesterday on a road trip north to the farm country of Arlington, WA. Out there by the horses and barns was the Skookum Brewery. I’ve been to many microbreweries across the country, but this is the first one that was on a farm. It was a great experience and perfect place to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Several of our members complained that Skookum was too far to go for our June meeting. Nonsense. I was able to pick up two members in Seattle and make it there in under one hour. The beer and service was very good and worth the trip.
