A few of you have contacted me about my cooking posts and why there hasn’t been any recent updates. First of all, I am still cooking and learning. Not every dish is a success, but I am making progress. Occasionally I will take photos thinking that I’ll write up a post. Then I bail on the post for a few reasons.
- My photos suck. Trevor’s comment on Adventures in Cooking was spot on. My primary goal is becoming a better cook right now. Photography will have to wait.
- For the most part I’m using some recipe on the web and not really adding anything unique to it.
- Boring. If the recipe isn’t unique and the photos suck then how interesting is the post going to be? Not very.
My cooking education will continue, but those posts will become less frequent.
