Stop Waiting For Godot

According to the Wikipedia, Seattle may be the smartest city in America.

Additionally, survey data by the United States Census Bureau indicated that Seattle was the most educated city in the U.S., with 52.4 percent of residents aged 25 and older having a bachelor’s degree.

Even the graffiti can be smart.  This Queen Anne Stop sign was too smart for me, so I looked it up.

Waiting For Godot was a play originally written in French that debuted in 1953. Too smart for me.

Very funny sign. Go see the play if you have a chance. You’re smart enough!

There appears to be a few movie versions, but none are on Netflix.

I’d be shocked if you didn’t absolutely love Waiting for Godot, MAS. Check it out from the library — it’s pretty short. (I’ve never seen it performed, but read it.) It’s one of those works that forever colors the way you see life — as you see all the world’s real-life characters who keep waiting for Godot.

I just added it to my list. Now I’m going to teach myself French. ;)
