Taking a cooking class was one of the highlights of my time in Chiang Mai too. I love your photo showing the tanks of cooking gas. Looks like your class was really large! We did a cooking class while staying in Chiang Mai. There are plenty of places that do it, and if nothing else it will certainly make you appreciate all the hard work that goes into making the food. My arms were aching after using the pestle and mortar for an hour or so!

Cooking class in Thailand, a definite “yes” for me when I get there (unlike the elephant training). Pad Thai is one of my favorite foods so I’ll get some tips from you when you get back.
