If I had to pick the worst coffee related beverage I tried in while traveling in Asia, I’d say it was Birdy Robusta Ice Coffee. Now this is something I’d never consider drinking back home, but since I was in Coffee Explorer mode, I figured I’d give it a try.
One sip was enough. Just vile. Avoid.

I used to loath the stuff when I first moved to Bangkok. Now I can drink it in a pinch.
You’re right though. Like most coffee-based drinks in Thailand, it’s too sweet. Thais have a sweet tooth, so most drinks here are too sweet for me. I’m always having to ask for drinks “waan nid noi”, – “Just a little sweet”
